The "group" picture, above, is the recently released cover to "Batman & Robin #1" by Grant Morrison & Frank Quietly, the creators of "All-Star Superman" & "WE3". The series launches in June. Don't Miss it!

Yeah pretty lame name, but it's the best I could think of. I was thinking "The Batcave' or something, but ah well.

Anyways, with Battle for The Cowl nearing it's end and the recent revamps announced by DC, Batman & Robin, Red Robin, Streets of Gotham, Gotham City Sirens, and of course, revamps of the two title series, Batman & Detective Comics, it's a GREAT TIME TO BE A BATMAN FAN! For the rundown on the new titles after Battle for the Cowl, look below...

Batman & Robin (by Grant Morrison & Frank Quietly)
Batman (by Judd Winick & Ed Benes)
Detective Comics (Feat. Batwoman & The Question in Co-Features, by Greg Rucka JH Williams)
Red Robin (by Chris Yost & Roman Bachs)
Batman: Streets of Gotham (by Paul Dini & Dustin Ngyuen)
Gotham City Sirens (feat. Catwoman, Harley Quinn, & Poison Ivy by Paul Dini & Gulliem March)
The Outsiders (by Peter Tomasi & Trevor Scott/Lee Garbet)

Now, i dont know about you guys, but im excited as HELL! My two favorite current Batman writers Grant Morrison & Paul Dini, not to mention art by fantastic guys who've been having runs on Batman/Detective Comics, Dustin Nguyen (sp?), Gulliem March, and the always phenomenal Frank Quietly.

I'm particualry suprised to see Harley Quinn get a spot in a starring position once again in a Bat-book, as she is my favorite of the Bat-women....and Paul Dini would defnitely be my pick to showcase Harley busting ass through Gotham City, as he does it, the way no one else can, when it comes to Harley and the Bat-Girls.

Sorry for lack of updates. I have LIMITED access to the internet and I do not get to get on here a whole lot.

Anyways, myself and im sure most of you have read the current Batman and Robin & Blackest Night series.

*SPOLIERS*
Yesterday I picked up and read Blackest Night #5 and i was wondering what everyone thinks of Bruce "supposedly" being made into a Black Lantern and somehow turning resurrected heroes such as Superman, Connor Kent, Wonder Woman, Green Arrow, and Bart Allen into apparent Black Lanterns.

That coupled with the fact that in January, Batman and Robin begins the "BLACKEST KNIGHT" arc, which promises to reveal more as to what exactly happened to Bruce when he was shot with Omega Sanction by Darkseid in Final Crisis.

The fact at the end of Batman and Robin #6, it shows Dick go into a vault and shows him approach a Batman costume, with a blade in his hand makes it all the more confusing/intriguing. I assume it is the outfit Bruce "died" in or maybe the "real" corpse, not the one they buried in the unmarked grave. Maybe the knife is the thing he used to carve the bat into the cave wall in Final Crisis, that Tim Drake found in Red Robin #4.

Anyways, Batman and Robin #8 solicits shows Dick and Squire looking at someone in a Batman costume approaching out of what seems to be a lazarus pit.

I've heard that DC said the body recovered in Final Crisis by Superman, was not Bruce's back when Blackest Night first began, so when i keep this in mind, I seem to think that they body recovered is possibly Anthro's corpse. Because when Bruce is in the cave in Final Crisis, it shows him costume-less, mask-less, and putting his utility belt on Anthro's corpse. I have no clue as to how Bruce could make that happen, but it's my best guess. But after Blackest Night #5, I am really thrown for a loop and am not sure what to think.

anyone else have any theories?
