Desperately Seeking....
Does anyone know of a good <cough, "cheap"> place to buy Excalibur back issues? I need certain specific books to, er, fill out my collection (mostly to fulfill my obsession with some of my favorite characters tbh - I AM a weird combo of Meggan and Wanda Maximoff lol. I know, I know, but it seems to work for me! :P). I HATE missing chunks of storyline!!! I would prefer to not have to pay for shipping from a dozen different sources - things get pricey fast. I have devoured all of the Excalibur issues at the Castleton and Downtown locations, so I need to broaden my market, so to speak. I am also a single mom, so need to keep costs down, although the value of comics vs. food.......hmmm......
Also, I would LOVE to work for DTC, if there is an opening (she says subtly). :P Having a cute and informed woman behind the counter would be great for business!!! Hee..ok, stopping shameless plug now. ('tis true, however!) Any guidance towards a reputable and affordable centralized resources for old issues would be greatly appreciated!!! Excalibur ran for almost a decade - I don't understand why it doesn't figure in the Marvel Universe more prominently. They helped to clean up Genosha for heavens sake!! And to help defeat Legion! <grumble grumble>.
