Best Place to Sell Comics?

I'm just wondering what everyone's thoughts are on the best place to sell comic books.

I have about 500+ comics I am looking to get into the hands of someone who would value you them in their collection. I have a couple of lots on eBay, but I am terrified I am going to lose money selling them there.

I just sold 25 Fantastic Four comics on there for $3 plus shipping, I'd prefer not to sell the rest of my collection for so little.

I have several hundred Fantastic Four, Silver Surfer, Thing and hundreds of Spider-man, Superman, Justice League, etc.

So, if you were going to sell your books via lot, where would you do it? Or, would you use eBay and just promote the sale elsewhere?

I need advice.
